Then you are at the right place - welcome to the guide of how to become a member of the Czech Garrison, Star Wars "bad guys" club, fighting for a good cause!

1. If you are really interested in becoming a member of the Czech Garrison, thoroughly read through this entire website.
2. Register on our forum. Then write a little about yourself in the Introduction section for newcomers.
3. Before you apply by sending an application, come to visit us at one of our events. This is a great opportunity to get to know other members. You will see the costumes and find out how it works on events.

Being a full member of the Czech Garrison means to be a member of the 501st Legion.

WHAT CRITERIA YOU MUST MEET FOR ADMISSION TO POST OF A MEMBER?

1. You must be at least 18 years old. (Will be verified on the first opportunity)
2. You must be a citizen of the Czech Republic.
3. You must have a quality-looking costume of a bad guy from the Star Wars universe.
4. You must accept the internal rules of the Czech Garrison (PDF download).

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

1. Passion for our club!
2. Loyalty to the Garrison and its elected commanders.
3. Honoring and respecting the rules of the Czech Garrison and the 501st Legion.
4. Your behavior will not in any way harm the reputation of the Garrison.
5. Involvement in the activities of the Garrison.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM US?

1. Fairness from the leadership and members.
2. Access to our promotional materials for production costs.
3. Possibility to act as a member of the Czech Garrison.
4. Our help with work on your costume.
5. Advices and information about the costume on which you work.

If you do not meet any of the requirements, nothing is lost. Contact us and all the details can be solved with our personnel Officer - GML (Garrison Membership Liaison).

Application

If your application is approved, from the date of admission to the Czech Garrison you are obliged to follow its rules.

If your costume isn’t finished or you don’t meet any of the requirements above, after filling the application you’ll get status of a Cadet and you will have extended access to the Czech Garrison forum.

Costume

You have to start working on your costume in one year time limit. The costume should be done in 2 years from your admission.

By your acceptance into our ranks you are obliged to start working on and to complete a quality costume. Remember that the costume design is quite expensive and requires a lot of manual skills.

Participation in activities

This is a great opportunity to get to know other members. Always and under all circumstances, it is important to behave and follow the instructions of event coordinators. Required attendance for cadets and members is at least 1 official event per year.

We strongly recommend proactive approach!

Realize that what we do is not just for fun, but for a good cause. Not always the event organizers provide what they promised – you need to be prepared for that. We are volunteers and do everything voluntarily, without any compensation, which is good to realize right from the beginning.

Age restrictions

Individuals aged 6-15 years can be accepted only if one of their parents is CzG member. A cadet can be a person of 16 years of age and older. From 18 years you can be a member.

Personnel Officer (GML) has three-week time on every step by the rules. That means 3 weeks to contact you and 3 weeks to react on your application.

Your personal information obtained by us, will under no circumstances be disclosed to anyone else.
